State Bank of India the country’s pride in the banking sector with the largest IT banking network is in need of the services of an experienced professional with a proven work record for the post of Chief Technology Officer at the bank’s global IT center based in Navi Mumbai. This post is contractual with an initial term of three years.

Important dates for this recruitment:-

• Date of publication of advertisement: November 18, 2013 (Monday)
• Last date for receipt of application forms by email: December 07, 2013 (Saturday)
• Last date for receipt of hardcopy of application forms along with certificates by post: December 14, 2013 (Saturday).

Current opportunity:-

• Post: Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
• Nature of employment: contractual.
• Role: Managing core IT infrastructure and handling strategic planning of the IT department.
• Responsibilities: Handling core IT infrastructure of the bank, handling strategic planning and technology development and new IT initiatives.
• Expected CTC: (around) Rs 60 lakh per annum.

Age: Candidates aged between 40 and 55 years of age are eligible to apply.

Academic aptitude: Applicants wishing to apply for the post of CTO should posses any one of the following qualification.

• First class engineering degree from a recognized university.
• Master of Computer Application (MCA) from a recognized university.
• Post graduation or higher qualification in areas specific to the role.

Work Record: Minimum 15 years of work experience in the field of IT business or industry with

• Experience in managing IT infrastructure and projects.
• Proven capabilities in project management.
• Ability to lead a large team of employees.
